Founder + Editor Vida Pacifica Magazine
Vida Pacifica is a high quality, glossy magazine designed to celebrate the uniquely positive spirit of life in Costa Rica’s South and Central Pacific. Its editorial ethos curates interesting, relevant content for locals and visitors alike. As the editor I was responsible for generating a monthly theme, contracting writers to provide content, creating content myself, and incorporating it all within an appealing layout, also of my design. Averaging 65 pages per issue.

2018 - Present
Graphic Design
Most recently I did the layout design for the tourist magazine Vida Pacifica. With 8 issues to date, this was done hand in hand with my duties as editor.
When I joined Vida Realty CR I was in charge of all their graphic design including an update of their logo, brochures and signage. I have also created brochures for tour providers, several WIX powered websites, signage for a coffee shop, business cards and the occasional logo.
2011 - 2017
Farmer
My husband and I left Canada for Costa Rica where we purchased a precious hectare on the Gulf of Nicoya. We raised pigs and chickens and over a dozen fruit varietals while learning about permaculture farming.
1998 - 2011
Film, Television, Interactive Producer
Ultimately I became an independent film and television producer. My credits include the feature films HOUSE and GINGER SNAPS and the television programs OUR HERO and CONNOR UNDERCOVER. At the end of this phase of my career in entertainment, I started an interactive production company called Heroic Interactive creating accompanying online interactive content for kids.

Canadian Film Centre | Program Director
Searching for my next step in my career, I was given the invaluable opportunity to create and run an educational Television program at Norman Jewison's prestigious Canadian Film Centre. In addition to our workshops, we ran a Television Festival for two years - which was tons of fun.

Assistant Director Film and Television
Straight out of university in Toronto, Canada, I started my career in film and television. I was a freelance contractor - as are all film workers - working my way up to first assistant director. You can find me on IMDB.
